HVK BIO has the same strength and durability as the rest of Hultafors knives, except the handle is made of bio-based plastic and uses less plastic than previous models. The ergonomics of the handle are sustained, keeping that comfortable feeling in your hand as you hold it.
The handle has a hole for a strap, so that you can secure the knife as you move around the job.
The blade is made from 2.5 mm carbon steel that has been hardened to 58-60 HRC. The cutting edge is sharpened in several stages, with a final honing on a leather strop. This is a great option for an environmentally-minded tradie!
